Called by Name

Do You Know Anyone Who Might Be a Candidate for Religious Life?

We are asking parishioners to help identify potential vocations. The CALLED BY NAME program is designed to help people that might have a vocation to the priesthood, diaconate and religious life. A key aspect of the program is parishioners filling out response cards with the names of men and women that they believe might have a call to the priesthood, diaconate, or religious life. If you know of someone who might be a candidate, please take a moment to fill out a CALLED BY NAME card and drop it into one of the Spiritual Bouquet boxes near the main entrance to the church and the side door near the parish center.

Help us to encourage all Catholics to be Christ’s hands and feet in working for the harvest! If you feel called to learn more about religious life, please contact Fr. Steven Huber, CSB at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Prayer for Vocations

Jesus, we thank you for blessing our parish with men and women committed to serving you as married couples, sisters, priests, deacons, and brothers. We pray that our young people may know their vocation and respond with enthusiasm and generosity of spirit. Increase the faith life of our parish and strengthen our family life.

Help all of us who center our Catholic lives in word and sacrament to be active promoters of vocations to the priesthood and religious life. The ministry of identifying and nurturing vocations belongs to each member of each family in our parish families. May we all accept this mission from Jesus with the determination that comes from faith.

Blessed Mother, pray for us! Amen.
