Before an organization is considered, the first time, a grant-reviewing committee member will contact the agency to schedule a site visit.

By the end of February, all applicants will be notified in writing about any action taken by St. Anne Catholic Community. If a grant is awarded, a check will be mailed by the first week of April.

Each recipient shall resubmit a report describing the process made and/or milestones achieved in furtherance of the purposes of the grant by the end of the period of the grant or by the time the funds have been expended.

Commitment to Informed Grant-making

St. Anne performs due diligence on all grant applicants to assure the organization is an effective and healthy nonprofit organization. St. Anne Parish takes into consideration not only the written application, but also the results of telephone interviews and site visits. After a grant is awarded, grantees are required to provide documentation about the project’s fulfillment/completion.

Not all projects can be funded.

St. Anne Catholic Community has the responsibility for the final approval of each grant. Since St. Anne Parish receives funding requests that far exceed our grant budgets, we cannot fund every worthy project. A decision not to fund a proposal does not reflect on the merits of the proposal or the applicant’s organization.

Bridges To Life

Bridges To Life is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that has been transforming lives since 1998. Rooted in the principles of restorative justice, its mission is to reduce recidivism, promote healing for crime victims, and create safer communities. Through facilitated dialogue, offenders come to understand the impact of their crimes and take responsibility for their actions. Volunteers play a vital role in this process, and no special experience is required--just a compassionate heart and a willingness to listen. At the heart of Bridges To Life is a spiritual commitment: to reveal the healing power of God’s love and forgiveness to both offenders and victims alike.

The Care Team Ministry provides support to parishioners and neighbors in the community. The support takes the form of trips to the grocery store, rides to doctor and dentist appointments, rides to Mass, or just a friendly visit with someone in need, so the caregiver can get away for a while. Time commitment is minimal, but fills a significant need. For more information or to volunteer contact Tom Speier.

Vocations Committee

The mission of this ministry is to help parishioners (especially our youth) discern God’s will for their specific vocations by creating an environment where young people can hear and answer God’s call. This ministry is tasked with creating and implementing activities and events that will affirm those who have already answered God’s calling (our current priests, religious and seminarians), along with creating an environment in the parish that will encourage others to consider a life in a religious community.  Without our priests, who will baptize and marry our children? Won’t you join our ministry and help us to make St. Anne a parish where thinking about our vocations becomes second nature?  The goal is to create a vocation rich environment in the parish.
